Educational Programs

Our Center employs the High Reach Learning Curriculum in all of the programs. Our curriculum called High Reach Learning is a complete, well-researched curriculum, which is created to support best teaching practices, and assist teachers in observing children’s progress throughout the year. Our Three’s and Pre-K curriculum is linked to objectives that are derived from Head Start Outcomes and are correlated to meet the State of California and national standards.

We like to stay connected with each child’s family through our monthly Bilingual Family Connection Newsletter which serves as a communication channel between home and school and provides the parent with an opportunity to extend learning. Through this Newsletter we keep parents informed about topics being discussed in the classroom and give you tips on how to support what your child is learning during the day.
For the school-age program we also use the FunShine Express curriculum.

While we allow for a wide range of experiences to encourage exploration of the environment, we make sure the child feels stimulated but not threatened by excessive expectations. We help children to feel at ease, comfortable and secure in a nurturing setting.
