
Yeni Portillo, Director

Ms. Portillo holds a master’s degree in child development and family studies as well as a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in psychology. In addition, she holds a Child Development Director’s Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She also has extensive experience in the area of social services performing protective services, foster care, adoption studies, and developmental evaluations. Ms. Portillo is CPR & First Aid certified.
Gloria Portillo, Director

Ms. Portillo holds an associate of arts in child development and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders at CSULA. Ms. Portillo has 7 years of experience working with infant, preschoolers, school-age children as well as special needs children.

Edith Trejo, Teacher
Ms. Trejo holds an associate of arts in child development and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in child development at CSULA. In addition, she holds a Child Development Master Teacher Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She has three years of teaching experience. Ms. Trejo is CPR & First Aid certified.
Carolina Ramirez, Teacher

Ms. Ramirez is currently pursuing an associate of arts in child development. She has over 30 units in child development. She has four years of teaching experience. Ms. Ramirez is CPR & First Aid certified.

Dina Veliz, Teacher Assistant
Ms. Veliz has a law degree from El Salvador and has completed several child development units from UCLA. She has three years of experience including working with children with special needs.

Diana Villalobos, Teacher Assistant
Ms. Villalobos is pursuing an associate of arts and has a preschool teaching certificate. She has three years of experience working with children. Ms. Villalobos is CPR & First Aid certified.
